This applies not only to BJJ, but to everything.
"standard has to be higher".... standard should always be the same regardless, high.
Wow
You look like you used to use gear. But now you can no longer afford it… imagine putting yourself on video on the internet for all of time!!!! And not getting a full pump first… bro you and me need to talk. You can’t teach me anything. Give me 5 mins I’ll change your life
Only the father is good. This book must be natty and beta
Love this so much!
Good job Christopher Jenkins let’s go! Sorry this man broke your arm, prayers for a fast recovery! 🙏
💯
Cool but unnecessary
Another Tate brother 🙄
the coward win by using a hidden ranged weapon or possibly pocket sand.
"promosm" 👍
Eliot!
The editing/subtitle misspellings/subtitled emojis/dings and clicks are exactly why I dont follow this instructor. Dont talk about discipline in the format of special ed. You're approaching 50 yrs old (or have had aged poorly) but definitely not gen z so why communicate like a kid??
Hey Prof.Eliot the last few videos in this format have very quiet audio.
I mean you could just look at your membership prices
Lol
Did brenda schaub buy a black belt from you?
Jiu jitsu school owners are a very narrow audience i dont think most of them would be watching youtube shorts
Everyone watches UA-cam shorts
Old 3 stripe purple - my instructor told me I’m close to brown - what does brown mean to you, if you’re able to articulate that standard?!
Apparently some celebrities are actually brown belt. Well this will be shocking Nicolas cage, Jim Carrey and obviously Jackie Chan too. I am surprised that Jim is one of them because he is best known for his comedic roles. But he is actually strong in real life. Wow But Steven seagal is more stronger at martial arts and Bruce lee, everyone knows that.
My jujitsu place is ran by 1 professor and 2 purple belts
Time to move gyms
Bullshit Bullshit Bullshit
Easton BJJ is fantastic. My daughter trained with excellent instructors for over 4 years. We only left because of my new job out of state. If you are in Colorado, don't miss out on this amazing school.
It’s gonna come, come all over your face.
Who the fuk gives up in jiu jitsu ? You’re not even getting punched .
This is absolute nonsense.
Getting Democrats out of the White House would be a good start
We’re not promised tomorrow.
2024: I’m coming 😫😫😫
There's NO better lesson than getting technique down & making it muscle memory. Regardless of the task; weight lifting, any martial art, running, any damn sport, etc. Form & technique are PARAMOUNT!!
🥱dweeb

Congrats Cornelius Jermichaels 👏🏼
Wow..i love the 4 Agreements too..and glad Ruiz did this
Knowing these things is so crucial, nuanced and often not explained. Thanks for the insight brother
Well ypu get what you kill. thats danas philosophy if you sell abunhc of payper view and yada yada then youll make more. hemce why connor males so much he wins and puts on a hell of a pre fight and keeps it exciting
Aye man if u not bringing anything to the table don’t expect to eat … remember when Conor was happy for that 50000 g ? Cause he knew he was lucky to even be put in that position … if u want ur job to be a professional fighter u gotta go through the hardship just like any other profession ..
I find at brown belt if ego takes over the person has a long way to go into black 1st Dan
What's the jujitsu kata for brown belt?
Of course. Because if there is one thing that we have to think when we are teaching honourable Martial arts , is Money.
The standard is brown bro. If they meet brown they are brown.. working for you doesn't change the meaning of the color the belt is supposed to resemble
Is the first gym pic at ETC Denver? If so I train Muay Thai there it’s cool to see the gym on my feed😄
Ahe...perfect time for nap...lol...all.animals fed and kids are breathing
Ran into Eliot at a bjj competition where he walked around shoulder-checking everyone back in about 2007. Huge dbag and watching him get smoked in MMA was always my favorite hobby. Saw it live at ROF, great night.
Go away bud
One reason u didnt give him a belt: ego
Redefining belt standards to be a 'little longer' is convenient for many business models.
Love this
Wish more places had this mentality towards getting high ranks.
UFC didn’t have the toughest in the world Back then
